The Symposium aims to promote discussion and the exchange of experiences among military police institutions in Brazil, scholars, manufacturers, suppliers, and the Brazilian Army, through IGPM and COTER.

Its objective is the improvement and adaptation of the military needs of the Corps, the standardization of the parameters of weapons material programs, and the qualification in the use of firearms.

The professional technical fair enhances knowledge capacity, presents participants with new techniques and trends in equipment, as well as supports the research and development of new products.
