Enrique “Ric” Prado is a 24-year CIA veteran specializing in paramilitary operations, counterterrorism, and covert missions. He served as Deputy Chief of Station and co-founder of the original Bin Laden Task Force and later became Chief of Station in a hostile Muslim country. During the 9/11 attacks, he acted as Chief of Operations at the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center, coordinating elite special ops with the NSC, FBI, Delta Force, and SEAL Team 6.
His early career included 10 years in the CIA’s Special Activities Division, conducting jungle warfare and counterinsurgency missions in Central America, Peru, and the Philippines. Fluent in Spanish and trained in advanced combat, free-fall parachuting, and SCUBA, Ric now co-owns Camp X, a training center for special operations, where he continues to instruct and support the SpecOps community.
